Part-time, 32 hours per week
Shift:
Primary
Job Responsibilities:
* Keeps the supervisor informed and seeks assistance and direction when confronted with unfamiliar procedures and techniques.
* Manages time and equipment effectively and works as a team member, complying with supervisor's special requests as situations dictate.
* Alerts appropriate individuals of any safety issues and participates in the department's overall quality improvement efforts.
* Participates in process or performance improvement teams and proactively initiates process improvement ideas.
* Communicates with the Anesthesia Charge Person and the Anesthesia Department for scheduling and the coordination case flow.
* Schedules cases on a first come/first serve basis while accommodating emergencies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Basic computer and typing skills. [Required]
* Strong organizational skills. Able to multitask. [Required]
* Familiar with various computer programs [Required]
* Ability to maintain a legible and current patient log/schedule [Required]
* Advanced typing and computer skills [Preferred]
* Medical terminology [Preferred]
Education:
* Associate [Preferred]
Field of Study:
* in business, healthcare, or related field
Work Experience:
* 1+ experience in a health field industry [Preferred]

$17.11 - $27.38
