Community you’ll be caring for:
Pediatric Cardiac ICU- Pediatric Cardiac ICU caring for congenital heart patients pre/post‑op, including caths, EP studies, and complex cardiac conditions
- 15-bed unit with strong patient outcomes, 2–3 week average LOS, and flexible nurse‑to‑patient ratios (1:1–1:3 based on acuity)
- Highly skilled, collaborative team of 70+ members including RNs, ECMO specialists, ANMs, and PCTs
- Magnet‑designated unit with award‑winning patient experience, advanced cath lab, and strong focus on education, mentorship, and professional growth

The support you'll provide:
Oversees staff performance, manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing and understands healthcare finance. Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence‑based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision‑making, problem‑solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high‑quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery. Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient‑centered care.
