Shift: Nights

• Mothers in active labor with expected delivery, with or without epidurals
• Inductions of labor
• Immediate postpartum recovery
• Immediate newborn care post delivery
• Complications of pregnancy requiring inpatient and outpatient evaluation
• Emotional and physical care for patients requiring medical termination of pregnancy post‑fetal demise
• 24‑hour anesthesia service for pain management and cesarean birth anesthesia management

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department

• Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas

• At least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse in L&D or OB/GYN
• Current Orlando Health RNs with 1 year of experience in any inpatient specialty (e.g., Med-surg, MBU, neuro, cardio, OR, etc.)
