Part‑Time Pain Pump Refill Registered Nurse
Advanced Infusion Solutions is seeking a Home Health Infusion Registered Nurse to support patients in the Orlando, Florida area. This part‑time opportunity offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule while meeting the needs of patients throughout the region, with travel that may extend up to 200 miles.
Responsibilities- Collaborates with the prescribing provider, patient, and their caregivers; ensures orders are received, implemented, and are appropriate and actionable.
- Acts consistently with all applicable State Board of Nursing standards and successfully completes the company‑assigned training program.
- Educates patients and caregivers to assist symptom management and improve quality of life.
- Provides pain management and spasticity medication infusion therapies in patients' homes or in a clinical setting, managing a census of patients with implanted intrathecal pumps.
- Conducts one‑on‑one home or clinic infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
- Maintains excellent written and verbal customer service skills to interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners.
- Challenges clinical nursing skills by receiving continuous training on leading‑edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion; certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RNs.
- Travels to greater Orlando, Florida and surrounding areas, with travel time paid and mileage reimbursed.
- Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of residence and ability to obtain additional licensure in other states as required for multi‑state service areas.
- At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong clinical background and the ability to quickly assess and react to changes in patient conditions.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills; ability to work independently and be resourceful; proactive problem solver.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, smartphones, and tablets.
- Experience managing implanted intrathecal pumps.
RN Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
