Job Description

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
- Infusion Sr Manager (ARNP-SrM) provides direct management and overall leadership and direction to the ARNP/PA Infusion staff. Assist in providing comprehensive primary care and services that patients and families require throughout their outpatient experience. Contributes to staff and patient satisfaction, facilitates increased professional growth, and provides improved quality and fiscal outcomes. Lead education and research endeavors to promote high quality evidence-based Oncology patient care.

The ARNP-SrM has prescriptive authority in the State of Florida under a practice agreement with a supervising physician. The ARNP-SrM actively participates in outstanding customer service, including service to patients, families, physicians, and other contacts, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Schedule:

Mon - Fri 40 hours per week 8am to 4pm.

Human Resource Management – Monitors performance of the ARNP/PA Infusion staff and takes action for improvement as appropriate.
Financial Management – Understands health care economics, public policy, and finance as it pertains to the delivery of patient care.
Performance Improvement – Demonstrates familiarity with the performance improvement model of the organization
Critical Thinking/Technology – Utilizes critical thinking skills in the performance of their duties. Demonstrates and understanding of technology utilized in the organization.
Leadership and Clinical Practice Knowledge – Provides leadership for the effective and efficient operation of ARNP/PA assigned to an Infusion center. Assures clinical practice is of the highest quality.
Communication and Relationship Building – Utilizes relationship in influencing behaviors on the unit
Professionalism – Demonstrates a professional persona in their work.
