You must have an active Florida RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program. At least two years of recent cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) experience is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are necessary.
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is helpful. Strong skills in cardiac rhythm monitoring, hemodynamic support, and teamwork are essential.
