Responsibilities
Role Overview
As an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM) in our Level II NICU, you'll play a critical leadership role, working alongside the Nursing Operations Manager to:
- Oversee 24/7 operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional care for our tiniest patients.
- Lead recruitment, staff scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Promote quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care and safety.
- Serve as a role model, mentor, and advocate for nursing excellence and professional development.
- Collaborate with HR, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and staff engagement.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
- Education:
Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a related graduate degree - Licensure/
Certifications:
Active RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Basic Life Support (BLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or ability to obtain) - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
