Working alongside experts in neonatology, respiratory care, nutrition, rehabilitation, and developmental services, you'll provide specialized care to infants requiring extended NICU support due to chronic pulmonary, respiratory, and feeding-related conditions.

Variable Full-time (36 hours). Shift: Nights.

Position Summary

The Developmental Care Collaborative (DCC) is a specialized multidisciplinary team within the NICU dedicated to caring for medically complex infants who require extended hospitalization due to chronic respiratory, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and feeding-related conditions. The DCC focuses on supporting infants who continue to require advanced medical care beyond a traditional NICU stay, while promoting developmental progress, family engagement, and successful transition planning.

Patient

Population
  • Require prolonged NICU hospitalization
  • Have chronic pulmonary or respiratory conditions, including severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD)
  • Require long‑term ventilatory or respiratory support
  • Experience complex feeding or gastrointestinal challenges
  • Require specialized developmental, nutritional, and discharge planning services
