We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in a surgical ophthalmic setting.
- Responsibilities include:
administering anesthesia, conducting pre-anesthetic assessments, developing patient-specific anesthesia plans, monitoring vital signs, providing post-anesthesia care, maintaining accurate records, and educating patients and families. - Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with safety protocols.
- Respond to emergencies with airway management, life-saving medications, and CPR if needed.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain certification and advance clinical skills.
- Skills required include proficiency with anesthesia equipment, strong understanding of pharmacology and physiology, excellent communication, and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, adhering to ethical and legal standards of patient care.
