We are hiring a Part‑Time Veterinarian to work on predictable hours with a consistent home hospital assignment. The role allows clinical engagement while maintaining work–life balance and flexibility in schedule.

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work‑ups.
• Communicate and educate clients regarding patient care.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Handle pharmacy duties, including prescribing medications and adhering to controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations.
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds when possible to ensure high standards of care.
• Participate in practice management updates and training at all levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills.
• Team‑oriented work style and exceptional interpersonal communication.
• Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality veterinary care.
• Effective communication with both staff and clients.
• Ability to manage stress and reassurance with patients in pain.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderate physical tasks.

• Business acumen related to practice finance and management.
• Strong ethical judgment in patient care decisions.
