Enhancement Foreman; Landscaping

Description

• Ensures client standards are attained by prioritizing projects, assigning work tasks to crew members, procuring required materials, filing work orders and maintaining records of projects.
• Conducts site inspections, provides hands‑on leadership, and provides guidance for soil, planting, watering and insect control.
• Leads crew and participates in planting and trimming trees, shrubs, ground cover, sod, seed, watering, grading soil and gravel.
• Drives and maintains vehicles.
• Trains personnel with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Works with the General Manager to create and maintain work schedules.
• Shovels snow from walkways, driveways, and parking lots and spreads salt in those areas.
• Operates powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin‑axle vehicles, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.
• Uses hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedges and brush trimmers, and axes.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position assigns tasks, keeps workers on task and inspects the quality of work while working alongside crew members. The foreman is responsible for finding solutions when challenges arise.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience overseeing installation crews.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Supervisor and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience with techniques and equipment used in landscaping.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong communication skills with management and general contractors.
• Time management and ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Physical ability to work in weather conditions, heavy lifting (30‑80 pounds), and extensive walking.
• Spanish language ability is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must complete a successful drug screen as part of pre‑employment testing.

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
