Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals to determine their health status and identify any illnesses or injuries.

Prescribe and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as necessary.

Perform surgical procedures on animals, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

Provide emergency care to animals as needed.

Educate pet owners on the proper care of their pets, including diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Stay current on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate them into practice.

Uphold all regulatory standards and adhere to veterinary best practices.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian.

Valid license to practice veterinary medicine.

Proficient in all aspects of veterinary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners.

Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions under pressure.

Willingness to continue learning and improving veterinary skills.

Physical stamina to handle the demands of working with animals, including the ability to lift heavy pets and equipment.
