Overview
Quality Inspector supporting TLS programs, providing inspections to manufacturing and testing areas, coaching line operators and assemblers, and collaborating with TLS Program Integrated Production Teams and Performance Management Teams.
Responsibilities- Inspect TLS products following the detailed Inspection Plan from the program Quality Engineer; create and communicate non-conformances via Q-notes; perform daily review of work in progress; work with QE and Supervisors on inspection priorities and tasks.
- Assist QE with the review of all non-conforming material on the program non-conforming rack for accuracy and status.
- Assist with audits of processes and procedures to ensure factory and program compliance with command media, local guidance, and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through active participation in OET; champion RCCA of defects to prevent recurrence; collaborate on preventative actions.

Qualifications- Experience with IPC-A-620 and IPC-J-STD-001; familiarity with IPC space addendums is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and proficient at understanding drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions.
- Experience with aerospace cables and harnesses.
- Proficient with common inspection tools and equipment.
- Experienced with quality best practices.
- Ability to perform repair and rework inspections.
- Ability to perform in-process manufacturing inspections.
- Experience following the detailed Inspection Plan from the program QE.
- College degree or more than 3 years of quality inspection experience.
- Experience with productions/operations teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to interface effectively with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management when resolving quality issues.
Onsite full-time position; work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
