Senior Quality Engineer

You will be the Senior Quality Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for delivering world-class missile and fire-control systems that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Quality Engineer you will be responsible for applying rigorous quality principles across design, production, and sustainment while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Leading product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective-preventive actions.
- Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, including statistical analysis of non-conforming material.
- Developing and maintaining statistical dashboards and automating manual data-analysis tasks to increase efficiency.
- Producing weekly, monthly, and program-level quality status reports for leadership.

Desired skills
- STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above preferred.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Experience with developing statistical process control run charts and Tableau.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with expertise in Excel
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external customers, including DCMA customers.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and electronic assemblies, e.g. epoxy/sealant application, painting, electro-mechanical assembly, optics, soldering, cable & harness fabrication, etc.
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
