Quality Assurance Manager

We're partnering with an established manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Quality Manager who is passionate about leading teams, improving processes, and creating a culture of quality. This is an outstanding opportunity for a strategic leader who enjoys mentoring others just as much as solving complex quality challenges.

As the Quality Manager, you'll lead a department of approximately 30 professionals
, including Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control personnel. You'll establish the vision for the quality organization while ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Quality team through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Oversee and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D quality standards.
• Plan and conduct both internal and external quality audits.
• Lead management review meetings and support certification audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
• Lead supplier quality programs, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to improve quality performance.
• Develop quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor organizational performance.
• Serve as the primary quality representative with customers and suppliers regarding quality concerns, corrective actions, and compliance.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline required.
• 5+ years of Quality Management experience.
• Experience leading teams of 15 or more employees

• Proven experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience conducting both internal and external quality audits.
• Strong leadership skills with experience coaching employees and leading performance conversations.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D
  .
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), quality metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience in metal manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• ASQ certifications and/or an MBA are a plus.
