Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Nocturnist, PICU

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider Nocturnist to join our Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) Team.

• Obtain patient and family histories
• Perform physical and developmental assessments
• Make diagnoses
• Participate in developing management plans
• Perform invasive procedures
• Obtain specialist consultations
• Teach and counsel patients and families
• Participate in teaching residents and students
• Perform appropriate documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary PICU team to achieve excellent patient outcomes, teaching, and teamwork

• Current active/clear Florida APRN or PA license in good standing
• Current AHA BLS & PALS certification upon hire
• Preferred candidates:
  Pediatric Nurse Practitioner‑Acute Care Certification, Pediatric APP experience (Intensive Care, Transport, Acute Care, or Emergency Medicine welcomed)
• New‑to‑practice APPs (with appropriate background) encouraged to apply and will be supported through structured onboarding, mentorship, and training
