The Barista is responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while delivering outstanding customer service. You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and checking on guest satisfaction. You will use the freedom to go beyond to turn guest interactions into moments of magic.

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to Lava Love’s standards.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, grinders, and espresso machines with precision and care.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas.
• Assist with stocking, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring food and beverage handling meets all sanitation guidelines.
• Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card payments.
• Promote and upsell Lava Love’s menu items, including seasonal beverages, pastries, and merchandise.
• Assist in training new team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Support resort-wide events and initiatives, providing coffee and beverage service as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous barista experience preferred, but not required—training will be provided.
• Passion for coffee and customer service with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
