Overview
Store Support role at The Home Depot. Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for a variety of non-sales functions, including ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. They may direct customers to store departments or merchandise, answer questions on product order status, handle cash management or program compliance, and support key operational responsibilities to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Individuals must work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, carriers, and productively with little/some supervision, be detail-oriented, and have proven time management skills. They must demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times and remain focused on store objectives. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Provide non-sales support to store operations and customer service tasks.
- Assist customers in person and via the lot or administrative areas.
- Direct customers to departments or merchandise and respond to product order status inquiries.
- Handle cash management or program compliance as required.
- Collaborate with associates, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth store operations.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow supervision as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Demonstrates integrity and focus on store objectives.
