Sales Associate

Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills
• Maintain visual standards on the sales floor and ensure assigned areas are well-presented
• Operate the register to process transactions and promote add-on sales, including benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Assist with planogram changes, including store maps, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising mix
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
• Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish store goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader

• Previous retail experience preferred; a love for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Minimum age of 16 years
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds

Pay rate: $11 - $13.77 per hour. The final salary will depend on factors such as education, location, experience, and training.
