Job Overview
Assistant Store Manager is an integral part of the store management team, developing the store team and contributing to the successful implementation of strategies and operational excellence that ensure brand equity, customer satisfaction and financial growth. In the absence of the Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager, the Assistant Manager assumes responsibility for the store.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coach the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and support a welcoming shopping environment.
- Implement sales strategies, analyze data, and drive revenue growth.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and uphold high standards of operational excellence.
- Support the leadership team in achieving overall performance goals and driving a memorable experience for employees and customers.
- Act as a role model, embodying the company’s values of originality, integrity, empathy, courage, and performance.
- Adhere to all Levi’s Store policies, procedures, and programs while following directives from store management.
- Minimum of 3+ years of retail leadership experience with proven coaching and training skills.
- Strong professional judgement, discretion, and diplomatic interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, carrying items, and climbing ladders.
- Demonstrated commitment to the company culture and collaborative leadership.
Compensation for this role ranges from $22.55 to $37.55 per hour, varying with experience and qualifications. Full‑time employees receive up to 4+ weeks of paid time off after the first year, immediate medical, dental, and vision coverage, volunteer hour reimbursement, a 50% employee discount, and a 125% match on your 401(k) up to 6%.
