What you’ll do? IT’S Exciting! Act as a Leader on Duty

• Oversee the daily operation of the store and ensure that sales objectives are met.
• Evaluate daily operations on an ongoing basis and make recommendations or initiate action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
• Foster a productive work environment through consistent coaching and training of Sales Associates.
• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and brand‑proud attitude.
• Promote safety for both customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Partner with store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions.

• Follow the customer engagement model SUGARTAINMENT by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining, and thanking the customer.
• Assist customers with requests and inquiries.
• Ensure the sales floor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.
• Operate the POS/​register to properly cash out all customers.

• Follow through on customer requests for specific items and suggest additional products.
• Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.

• Maintain store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure visual standards are appropriate and support the brand image.
• Merchandise displays to visual guidelines.
• Plan, coordinate, and set up special events and promotions.
• Maintain communication with associates regarding product recommendations to increase sales and inventory.
• Understand all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with the Store Manager.
• Handle operational responsibilities, including sales floor, backroom, restroom maintenance, cleaning, and mopping.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of retail experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able and willing to work 32‑40 hours a week.
• Must be able to use a POS/cash register.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs.; lift/move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to work alone or with minimal supervision.
