Position Summary

Lead and manage operations of the Vision Center, driving sales and ensuring premium customer service while maintaining compliance with company and legal policies.

• Drive sales by optimizing merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, inventory control, budgeting, and forecasting while assessing economic trends and community needs.
• Model, enforce, and provide direction to Associates on customer/member service approaches, handling complaints and issues within company guidelines and standards.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associates to serve as community ambassadors.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, conducting safety and quality assurance reviews, and developing action plans to improve performance.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates—hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and promoting a culture of belonging.
• Consult and advise members/customers on eyewear options, take measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidentiality, perform minor frame repairs, and maintain optical equipment.
• Uphold the Open Door Policy: meet with Associates, investigate concerns, review policies, suggest resolutions, and promote continuous learning.
• Coordinate job‑related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting business initiatives, communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
• Implement and support company mission, values, and ethical standards across all operations.

• 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

• Experience supervising Associates.

Hourly wage range: $34.50 - $46.00. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
