Meat​/Produce Team Associate

Role Summary

Meat / Produce associates keep the Fresh area fully stocked, rotate products, and maintain proper food‑safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise to the sales floor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day.

As a fresh‑food associate, you will:

• Deliver customer‑service in the deli, making a positive shopping experience.
• Assist customers with bakery items, helping them celebrate special moments.
• Support the dry‑grocery department to help customers find the items they need.
• Perform detailed shelf cleaning, temperature checks, and date verification.
• Dispose of lower‑quality food products in accordance with safety standards.

• Ability to help customers find products.
• Ensuring high‑quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Packaging ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stocking displays.
• Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food.
• Assisting customers with cake orders, deli orders, or produce selection.
• Keeping the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
