Summary
The Receiving Support Associate processes inbound shipments, inspects and stages merchandise, and helps maintain inventory accuracy in the backroom. This part‑time role supports timely stocking and return activities and requires physical work using handheld scanners and material‑handling equipment. The associate collaborates with store teams to ensure merchandise is ready for the sales floor.
Responsibilities- Receive and unload shipments, verify contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Inspect merchandise for damage and document discrepancies.
- Stage, transport, and organize merchandise for the sales floor and stockroom using pallet jacks and carts.
- Operate inventory scanners and update inventory records accurately.
- Assist with returns processing, labeling, and maintaining a clean, organized backroom.
- 2+ years of receiving, warehouse, or retail stock experience.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages regularly (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with inventory scanners and basic computer systems.
- Reliable attendance and availability for part‑time shifts, including weekends.
