Job DescriptionThis role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group, comprised of technology platforms such as Sports Engine HQ, Sports Engine Motion, Sports Engine Play and Sports Engine Tourney. We enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families.
Additionally, NCSI enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.
- Leverage our tech stack to strategically execute omni‑channel, full‑cycle sales strategies that provide value and drive valuable interactions with our customers
- Work directly with prospective customers via telephone, email, and online meetings to create demand and solve challenging customer problems in a consultative way
- Build and accurately manage your sales pipeline with regular pipeline reviews, creative advancement strategies, and the ability to translate product features to customer solutions
- Follow‑through on all commitments to customers ensuring a successful internal transition throughout their onboarding experience post‑sale
- Continue to gain advanced product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and Sports Engine as both a technical and business fit for our customers

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SaaS sales
- Proven and consistent track record of success in a consultative sales environment
- Ability to effectively engage customers and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy sales floor
- Strong telephone skills with the ability to understand and relate to the needs and goals of sport administrators
- Demonstrated curiosity, positivity, and enthusiasm
- Growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, viewing challenges as opportunities and prioritizing controllable actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of sales methodologies, market dynamics, and customer needs
- Strong multi‑tasking abilities with reliable, timely follow‑through
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain a strong work ethic, and manage time effectively to drive sales within an assigned territory

- Previous experience with or similar CRM
- Understanding of sales engagement tools such as Outreach or Sales Loft
- Experience in SAAS or web application sales
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Fully Remote:
This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non‑VERSANT worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence. - Travel:
Must be able to travel domestically for business meetings, trainings and team events as needed. - While most work will be completed Monday – Friday, there may be times where traveling and working on the weekend may be required with short notice.
