Aloft Lake Nona is a Best-in-Brand hotel and a proud member of the Lake Nona Hotels Collection, located in one of Orlando’s most innovative and fastest-growing communities. The property features approximately 10,000 square feet of modern, flexible indoor meeting space at Althea Events Center, complemented by 2,500 square feet of outdoor event space, ideal for corporate meetings, social events, and experiential gatherings.

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving event and meeting revenue through proactive sales, exceptional client service, and seamless coordination from initial inquiry through event execution. This role requires a high-energy, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities with accuracy, and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences. This is a demanding business that requires flexibility and adaptability while managing varying deadlines and priorities, but it is also collaborative, rewarding, and a lot of fun.
Responsibilities- Proactively sell and service meetings and events for Aloft Lake Nona and Althea Events Center
- Respond to event inquiries, develop proposals, conduct site tours, and convert leads into definite business
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and internal hotel partners
- Work collaboratively with counterparts and the area sales team across Lake Nona Hotels to maximize revenue, share opportunities, and deliver seamless experiences for clients
- Coordinate event logistics including space usage, timelines, and client expectations
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients through verbal interaction and written correspondence
- Provide administrative and sales support in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Ensure exceptional service delivery that consistently exceeds guest expectations
- Maintain accurate records and utilize sales systems, technology, and reporting tools effectively
- Prior event sales or hospitality sales experience required
- Marriott experience is a plus but not required
- Previous experience providing passionate service to others
- Experience providing administrative support in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and follow-through
