Building Automation Sales Executive
Orlando, FL (Remote with Local Travel) | Up to $110K + benefits
We’ve partnered with a well-established and rapidly growing commercial HVAC and building automation platform to identify an Account Executive focused on Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS). This individual will play a key role in expanding automation, controls, and service solutions across commercial and institutional facilities in Central Florida.
This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role combining technical understanding with strong business development skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning a territory, managing a book of business, and closing both service and project-based work.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage relationships with commercial and institutional clients
- Identify BAS/BMS opportunities tied to HVAC and mechanical systems
- Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and solution discussions
- Prepare proposals and collaborate with engineering and operations teams
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Maintain CRM activity, pipeline forecasts, and reporting
- 3+years of B2B sales experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or energy management
- Proven success managing $2M+ in annual sales
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Comfortable with local travel and client-facing work
- Driven, self-motivated, and hands-on sales style
