Overview
Coherus Oncology is a fully integrated, commercial stage oncology company focusing on promising immuno-oncology products. As the Oncology Account Manager, you will be a key member of our customer-facing team selling LOQTORZI and partnering with HCPs and other oncology practice stakeholders committed to patient-centric cancer care delivery.
The Oncology Account Manager will build sustained relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, administrators, billing, finance, office practice managers, mid-levels and other staff. A deep understanding of cancer staging, clinical guidelines, product, reimbursement and financial acumen is required.
Responsibilities- Strong working knowledge of cancer staging, treatment options, PD-1 inhibitors and associated dosing schedules
- Develop account profiles and business plans for LOQTORZI based on customer insights to drive appropriate use across indications
- Conduct territory business analysis, actively prospect for new business and opportunities to engage key HCP stakeholders for LOQTORZI
- Demonstrate clinical and product acumen to position LOQTORZI to meet or exceed sales goals
- Develop sustained, patient-centric relationships in targeted accounts with relevant clinical staff
- Represent Coherus and products in a manner consistent with ethics, policies and compliance expectations
- Foster teamwork and communication in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment prioritizing patient and company interests
- Apply understanding of reimbursement, contracting and finance related to buy-and-bill injectable medications
- Operate independently with urgency
- Understand and manage complex matrix accounts to ensure strategic focus and planning
- Utilize advanced selling skills including planning, probing, challenging, aligning, closing and follow-up
- Plan, budget and execute company resources (exhibits, speaker programs, HUB, executive visits) and coordinate activities with National and Key Account Directors
- Travel: daily in-person and overnight travel up to 50% for visits with HCPs, clinics and hospitals; travel to National/S regional meetings, speaker programs and conferences
- Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated oncology sales experience; hospital, academic and community oncology selling preferred
- Buy-and-bill experience with strong reimbursement and fiscal acumen
- Prior launch experience with oncology injectables preferred
- Solid understanding of community GPOs (ION, OnMark, USO) and hospital GPOs
- Understanding of oncology product distribution
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Knowledge of community oncology practices, hospitals, academic medical centers and IDNs
- Development, execution and follow-up of business plans
- Cross-functional communication with field-based personnel
- Flexibility, problem-solving and ability to wear multiple hats in a startup environment
Salary
:
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation varies based on factors including professional background and work experience.
