What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary face of Johnson Controls’ building automation solutions to contractors, consultants, and designers.
- Manage and grow a set of assigned accounts, building trusted relationships based on performance and results.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure project success and long‑term customer satisfaction.
- Use technical insight and business acumen to position Johnson Controls as a valued partner rather than a vendor.
- Drive sales with confidence, maintaining multiple active opportunities while focusing on customer value and profit.
- Develop strong partnerships with decision‑makers across the owner and construction communities.
- Apply expertise in building automation systems and construction workflows to solve real operational challenges.
- Proactively grow your territory by identifying, pursuing, and qualifying prospects aligned with the company’s strategy.
- Differentiate Johnson Controls in the market by demonstrating total value solutions.
- Advocate for customers internally, ensuring projects are completed to expectations and customers are trained.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3+ years of experience selling building automation systems or related construction technologies.
- Strong commitment to integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, initiative, and relationship‑building skills.
- Proven ability to influence key decision‑makers across multiple levels of customer organizations.
Salary Range: $68,000–$105,000 (adjusted for experience, education, and market data). A competitive Sales Incentive Plan accompanies base compensation. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package that begins on day one.
