Job Title: Maintenance Sales Representative
Department: Accounting

Coordinates With: Vice President, General Managers, Accounting, Field Employees

Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Customer Growth- Actively prospect and acquire new clients by developing and executing targeted sales strategies.
- Cultivate, build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to identify opportunities for service agreement expansion.
- Leverage our Dynamics CRM to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions, ensuring effective pipeline management.
- Utilize our Atlas prospecting tool to identify and qualify high‑potential leads, maximizing sales efficiency.
- Meet new and potential service agreement customers as designed by the General Manager and Sales Director, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for new contracted sales.
- Proactively engage with new clients to ensure the customer understands MSI’s capabilities.
- Negotiate and close service agreements, ensuring favorable terms and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project management, accounting, Commercial Sales Advisor) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize sales strategies, and measure performance against targets.
- Actively participate in industry organizations like BOMA and ASHRAE to establish professional networks and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Leverage industry connections to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Analyze client account activity to identify opportunities for new contracted sales.
- Prepare financial reports and projections to support sales forecasting and decision‑making.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to expand the contracted client base.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Evaluate and improve internal processes related to client acquisition and service agreement management.
- Take responsibility for the employee’s own safety, the safety of co‑workers, and the safety of the community in which they operate.
- Observe all safety, health, and loss prevention rules, practices, and procedures, as well as specific instructions related to the safe and efficient performance of work.
- Contribute to a safety program that is viable and effective only when all employees are safety conscious and keenly aware, both mentally and physically, of potential hazards.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably in a service‑based industry.
- Experience with CRM and prospecting tools is highly desired.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Ethical and discreet.
