Position: Strategic Account Manager - Software (East). Job in Orlando Move Collective Jobs

Responsibilities

  • Sell Motorola's industry-leading agentic voice AI Platform, initially focused on non-emergency call handling and triage.
  • This is a hunter role, assigned to capture new business in large-tier agencies and work with the largest cities and counties within the territory to proactively influence projects before formal requests are made.
  • Develop customer relationships through outbound sales campaigns, phone contact, personal visits, trade‑show attendance, onsite discovery, software demonstrations, oral presentations, and regional user group meetings.
  • Sell opportunities include on‑site product presentations, internet demonstrations, and coordination with state and local officials on individual and multi‑jurisdictional projects; a thorough understanding of local government procurement processes is helpful.
  • Manage, field, and qualify opportunities from channel through demonstration and closing of sale.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, software sales, military, or public safety experience.
  • OR 8+ years of sales, software sales, military, or public safety experience.
  • Sales experience in a technical field, computer software industry, or government sales preferred.
  • Experience in AI solution selling is a plus.
  • Experience selling to multiple levels, project stakeholders, and committees is preferred.
  • Experience with large ticket products having long sales cycles is beneficial.
  • Ability to articulate and sell enterprise software solutions.
  • Consistently proactive toward lead and opportunity qualification and development processes.
  • Possess consultative and relationship‑based sales qualities when engaging with prospective customers.
  • Familiar with CRM upkeep, management, forecasting, and maintenance of sales pipeline activities.
  • Ability to continually qualify the strength and viability of opportunities throughout a dynamic sales process.
Location / Travel
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Salary

Target Base Salary Range: $100, USD
