We are searching for the best talent for an Associate Account Executive in the Orlando, FL territory to expand the sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products in accordance with company policy and sales direction. The role includes product demonstrations, sales presentations, and support of the area/region for all sales-related activities with the aim to qualify for a future Account Executive position.
The Associate Account Executive will receive training to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting. The role requires the cycle to be concise, professional, ethical, and leading the customer to action.
- Expand the sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products in a manner that complies with company policy and sales direction.
- Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales-related activities and, upon successful completion of duties, be eligible to compete for the role of an Account Executive.
- Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage customer product questions, objections, and provide consistent sales training methodology.
- Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in sales training courses.
- Provide case coverage, assist surgeons through strategic platforms and products in an operating room.
- Comply with standards for safe behavior and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge; conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures.
- Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical manner that leads customers to action.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0–2 years business experience.
- Ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) and/or relocate to an assigned geography as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License issued in the United States.
- 2+ years of professional experience.
- Established business planning and forecasting experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred.
- Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel.
- Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Excellence in process management and organizational agility.
- Documentation of successful sales performance.
- Ability to work in an operating room.
