Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Catering Sales to lead the sales efforts of a luxury off-premise catering company. This leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales structure and SOPs, mentoring and coaching a high-performing team, fostering cross-department collaboration, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Salary Range-$100K-$130K including commission
Director of Catering Sales Key Responsibilities
  • Drive catering sales revenue through strategic business development, relationship building, and market expansion.
  • Develop, implement, and refine sales processes, systems, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, consistency, and accountability.
  • Establish sales goals, KPIs, forecasting, and pipeline management practices.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and mentor catering sales professionals to maximize performance and career growth.
  • Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, venues, wedding professionals, and community partners.
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee the sales process from prospecting through event handoff.
  • Partner closely with Culinary, Operations, and Event teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Analyze market trends, sales performance, and business opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, accountability, and luxury service excellence.
Director of Catering Sales Qualifications
  • 5+ years of catering, hospitality, or event sales leadership experience.
  • Proven success growing revenues and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience developing SOPs, sales systems, and operational structure.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with in luxury hospitality, catering, hotels, resorts, or private clubs preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Orlando market is a plus.
