Overview

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business, expanding existing client relationships, and positioning Superior Rigging and Erecting as the preferred partner for crane, rigging, and steel erection services.

This role operates at the intersection of operations and client development, requiring a strong understanding of construction project life cycles, field execution, and technical service offerings. The Sales Executive partners closely with Operations, Estimating, Engineering, and Project Management to develop solutions that align with client needs while ensuring profitable, safe, and executable work.

Primary Focus Areas

Business Development | Client Relationship Management | Construction Sales Strategy | Project Scoping and Estimating Support | Market Expansion | Revenue Growth | Cross‑Functional Coordination

Key Responsibilities Business Development and Revenue Growth
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and specialty construction markets
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with company growth objectives
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage the full sales lifecycle
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, project owners, engineers, and procurement teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and project coordination during pre‑construction phases
  • Conduct regular client visits, jobsite walk‑downs, and industry networking to strengthen market presence
Project Scoping and Solution Development
  • Collaborate with Estimating, Engineering, and Operations to develop accurate and competitive project proposals
  • Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to ensure scope alignment and execution feasibility
  • Assist in developing lift plans, rigging solutions, and project strategies in coordination with internal teams
Proposal Development and Contract Support
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and service agreements to clients
  • Negotiate pricing, scope, and contract terms in alignment with company objectives and risk tolerance
  • Ensure all proposals meet company standards for safety, compliance, and profitability
Market Intelligence and Positioning
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project opportunities within the Orlando and broader Florida market
  • Provide feedback to leadership on pricing strategy, service offerings, and market positioning
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and client meetings
Internal Coordination and Execution Alignment
  • Partner with Operations and Project Management to ensure seamless transition from sales to project execution
  • Maintain clear communication on project expectations, timelines, and client requirements
  • Support issue resolution during project execution to maintain client satisfaction and repeat business
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience in construction, industrial services, or related field
  • Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project life cycles, and field operations
  • Experience working with general contractors, project managers, and procurement teams
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to jobsites and client locations
