Job Summary
We are seeking an entry‑level or experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to promote innovative products to primary care physicians. The role focuses on achieving territory sales goals, educating healthcare professionals, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Effectively promote and educate physicians through one‑on‑one meetings, group presentations, and approved promotional programs.
- Plan and execute field activities including call planning, customer follow‑up, preparations, appointments, and reporting.
- Meet call plan expectations and achieve sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
- Execute company‑approved product marketing plans and regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers using approved resources, sales materials, and promotional programs.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers and alliances, managing company equipment and materials per compliance guidelines.
- Execute territory sales strategy using annual and regional plans, and submit accurate call activity reports, expenses, and written reports on time.
The position is physician‑customer facing and reports to a National Sales Manager. Responsibilities include managing several pharmaceutical products in a primary care and specialty environment, balancing territory and regional work, and demonstrating strong sales influence.
Qualifications- Some sales experience or sales abilities.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive approach, ownership of situations, problem‑solving, analytical and business acumen.
- Strong motivation and persuasion skills.
- Team orientation.
- Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
