Freedom Solar is looking to add to our growing sales team with an In-Home Solar Design Consultant
. This is a commission-based opportunity for individuals who educate, qualify, and advise future customers on the benefits of smart energy solutions. The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Consult with prospective customers on solar energy solutions for their home
  • Utilize an in-depth knowledge of solar leasing programs to guide customers in selecting suitable financing options
  • Achieve sales goals, including quotas, lead response timeliness, and meeting conversions
  • Qualify prospective customers using established and creative lead methods to build a book of business
  • Design and build solar energy systems that fit the prospective customer’s needs
  • Participate in on-the-job training, classroom instruction, self-study, licensing (if applicable), and lead qualifying activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your sphere of influence and the community
  • Work with our affiliate partners and vendors to ensure flawless execution of lead response and lead nurturing
  • Weekly reporting
  • Attend events selected for outreach to prospective solar customers

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Motivated and driven by results
  • Hungry and passionate about the work
  • Ability to close deals (3+ years of solar/in-home sales is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Quick thinker who can solve problems on the fly
  • Enjoy taking on challenges and finding creative solutions

This is a W-2, full-commission position with no cap on earning potential. The first two weeks are company-paid sales training to set you up for success. Once in the field, meeting company-given KPI expectations can result in average earnings ranging between $100,000 and $200,000 per year.
