Inside Account Representative – Caribbean Central America (CCA)

In the Inside Account Representative role, you work with specific, identified accounts. The position owns the daily contact with these accounts and works proactively to drive revenues and margins to ensure organizational profitability. Incumbents are seasoned and have the experience to handle complex customer issues.

What You’ll Do
  • Manages customer and territory Profit & Loss.
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking skills to successfully manage the growth and profitability of the assigned territory.
  • Generates new business through inbound and outbound calling.
  • Coordinates with field sales team to answer RFPs, provide proposals to accounts, and give Q  presentations.
  • Identifies business growth opportunities through research and executes growth plans for the sales territory.
  • Responsible for having knowledge of customers within the assigned territory and creating relationships at the purchasing, sales, and operational levels. Aligns with vendor management to introduce, drive, and execute goals and helps coordinate customer engagement with Finance and Purchasing, either directly or through the execution of actions of these groups.
  • Builds and maintains detailed account profiles for each customer and has ability to identify opportunities to attach additional TD SYNNEX solution offerings where applicable.
  • Can identify potential issues and challenges and provide visibility to them in a timely manner to Inside Account Executive / Sr. Inside Account Executive.
  • Develops written documentation and procedures for assigned sales accounts and delegates repetitive tasks to internal TD SYNNEX support teams.
  • May travel and attend TD SYNNEX and industry events as necessary.
  • Collaborates with sales support to ensure quotes and orders are processed timely and accurately.
  • Develops and maintains relationships at all levels with customers.
  • Possesses a basic understanding of TD SYNNEX strategy and initiatives and can provide a value proposition to the customer base.
  • Uses project management skills to complete customer requests.
  • Performs other additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • 4-year degree and 1-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Able to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and one other local/regional language.
  • Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time‑management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to multitask effectively.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Able to exhibit sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
  • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an intermediate level.
Working Conditions
  • Professional office environment.
  • Occasional non‑standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • Frequent travel desired (approximately 10%).
