- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential homebuilders; serve as the primary point of contact to ensure needs are met and issues are resolved.
- Sales Growth: Identify new business opportunities and execute strategic plans to grow territory revenue and market share.
- Client Engagement & Site Visits: Conduct regular job site visits to assess needs, present solutions, and provide on-site support.
- Product & Industry Knowledge: Stay current on services, industry trends, and competitors to effectively educate clients and recommend solutions.
- Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare proposals, deliver quotes, and negotiate contracts to successfully close deals.
- Reporting & CRM Management: Track sales activity, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide performance and market reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to provide insights to support business strategy.
- Education: None required. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of sales or account management experience; 5+ years preferred. Preferred experience within construction, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical contracting industries.
- Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets; strong negotiation and closing abilities; excellent communication and relationship‑building skills; self‑motivated with strong time management and organizational skills; proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, or plumbing systems is a plus.
- This role operates in a combination of field, office, and remote settings.
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs.
- Regular travel throughout the Orlando and Jacksonville territories, plus occasional travel for meetings, training, or company events.
