Job Summary

SPX Technologies is a global supplier of infrastructure equipment. As a Sales Equipment Coordinator (SEC) you will provide continuous support to our Outside Sales Team, dealers, and direct customers. Your responsibilities include configuring, maintaining, and quoting our prebuilt fleet and demonstration products; coordinating trade‑show equipment and booth materials; handling logistics for shipping equipment and tracking returns; and providing backup support to the Sales Equipment Managers.

You will play a significant role in the continued success of CUES – the industry leader in CCTV pipeline inspection.

Job Responsibilities

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and issuing quotes for demo equipment and pre‑built fleet equipment for existing and new customers.
  • Reconciling RMAs from the Demo Fleet into repair shop orders.
  • Maintaining and distributing weekly demo unit location and inventory reporting.
  • Ensuring all demo and display equipment meet company standards before and after each event.
2. Shipping, Returns and Maintenance Coordination
  • Coordinating equipment shipments for Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives.
  • Coordinating and tracking Return Material Authorizations for returning fleet equipment until completion.
  • Monitoring CCTV demo chassis preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Tracking and managing post‑show equipment returns, inspections, and inventory updates.
3. Administrative & Cross‑Department Support
  • Maintaining accurate inventory department records.
  • Communicating daily with sales and logistics teams to ensure transparency and task completion.
  • Providing backup support to the Sales Equipment Manager.
4. Trade Show and Event Administration Support
  • Assisting with trade‑show administration including event timelines, booth selection, sponsor ships, travel, and logistics.
  • Assisting with development of event plans and budgets for internal review and approval.
  • Supporting pre‑event logistics for booth materials, promotional assets, and demo equipment.
  • Managing pre‑event, on‑site, and post‑event communications in coordination with marketing and sales teams.
  • Organizing, tracking, and maintaining inventory of booth displays.
  • Coordinating on‑site event setup, staffing, and breakdown as needed.
  • Managing post‑event reporting, follow‑up activities, and asset reconciliation.
5. Rental Fleet Management & Coordination
  • Maintaining accurate records of all rental fleet assets, including availability, location, and status.
  • Supporting sales team with rental quotes, availability, and contract preparation.
  • Coordinating scheduling, delivery, and return of rental equipment.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and processing rental agreements and supporting documents.
  • Ensuring all contracts are signed, executed, and properly filed.
  • Tracking rental terms, billing cycles, and purchase options where applicable.
  • Maintaining insurance certificates and ensuring compliance prior to equipment release.
  • Coordinating with accounting to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, tracking initial deposits and recurring rental payments.
What we are looking for

We are seeking someone who has:

Required Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or inventory coordination.
  • Experience supporting a sales or operational team in a fast‑paced environment preferred.
  • Prior exposure to equipment coordination or fleet management is a plus.
  • Some exposure to trade‑show coordination or experience.
Preferred

Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of sales processes, equipment logistics, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with Return Material Authorizations or similar programs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to multitask effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and collaborative teamwork.
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and capable of prioritizing work with minimal supervision.
