POSITION OVERVIEW

The merchandiser will be an integral member of the field sales team. With a nearby support branch, this individual will promote our brands and product lines by visiting kitchen and bath (K&B) showrooms, fabricators, and design studios in the designated region. With corporate support, they will be responsible for the company’s promotional and sales/marketing efforts in the region.

• Engage business owners and key decision‑makers through friendly, consistent, professional communication.
• Qualify and evaluate potential showrooms for displays and marketing efforts.
• Identify opportunities to improve the consumer experience in the marketplace.
• Conduct product informational updates, educating retail sales partners and fabricators about the company and its product lines.
• Understand customer business needs and potential sales opportunities.
• Evaluate and categorize all customers assigned to the region, using existing sales “intel” reports to collect information and improve sales performance.
• Maintain accurate customer information (address, e‑mail, contact list) in the inventory system.
• Ensure displays are clean, samples are in place, and marketing collateral (window decals, location cards, catalogs, price lists) are present.
• Apply for and maintain displays, including ordering missing samples and supporting internal staff under local branch manager or executive supervision.
• Account for heavy lifting, loading, and unloading displays up to 50 pounds.
• Support distribution centers in the region.

• Preferred experience in sales, customer service, or other people‑oriented fields.
• Ability to work extended hours on weekends.
• Must be over 21 years of age and have a good driving record.
