We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Consultant to identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, channel partners, and self-generated leads. In this role, you will execute aggressive prospecting strategies to gain access to key decision-makers within prospective organizations.

You will maintain complete ownership of the entire sales cycle — including prospecting, negotiating pricing, determining scope of service, finalizing client service agreements, and overseeing post‑sale implementation and annual renewals.

  • New Business Generation: Actively generate new business in the designated Florida territory to meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Prospecting Strategy: Execute aggressive outreach tactics to connect with key decision‑makers, business owners, and executive leaders.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, including pricing negotiations, finalizing contract terms, and completing required sales and implementation paperwork.
  • Client Presentations: Conduct data collection and situational analysis to identify client needs; prepare and present comprehensive executive summaries and tailored product/service proposals.
  • Implementation & Renewal Support: Maintain ownership of the client relationship through the onboarding phase, scheduling ongoing meetings to resolve implementation concerns. Oversee annual renewal proposals and processes for current clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop consistent lead generation streams and meticulously utilize CRM software (Salesforce) to track all activities, maintain an accurate sales pipeline, and provide reliable revenue forecasts.
  • Continuous Learning: Remain a "student of the industry," staying highly knowledgeable regarding new HR technology, service products, broker practices, and emerging market trends.
  • Team Contribution: Attend monthly consulting meetings and offer professional training, coaching, and insights for internal staff.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Sales Drive: A self‑starter with a fierce work ethic, high motivation, and a clear focus on new business achievement and aggressive prospecting.
  • Business & Financial Acumen: Strong business acumen with an understanding of corporate financial concepts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledgeable in both self‑funded and fully insured corporate products, financial arrangements, and human capital solutions.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; highly capable of communicating as a knowledgeable professional to carriers, executive‑level employers, and internal members.
  • Analytical Problem‑Solving: Advanced ability to define problems, collect and interpret market/client data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to close deals and protect margins.
  • Professional Integrity: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and privacy, perform with sound business ethics, and consistently represent corporate policies with professional style and pride.
  • Coachability: Highly self‑aware, adaptable, and open to receiving continuous feedback and sales coaching.
Education & Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of proven, successful experience in a B2B sales, account executive, or consultative business development role.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience utilizing Salesforce (or a similar enterprise CRM) to track sales activity, lead generation, and pipeline stages is highly preferred.
