Position: Regional Vice President of Sales, Southeast US

Bonebridge is an international medical device company dedicated to the design, development, production, and successful application of orthopaedic trauma implants. Founded in Switzerland in 2018 by a group of clinicians, Bonebridge is committed to applying and promoting simplicity in fracture care to the benefit of patients. For our US Business, we are looking for a Regional Vice President of Sales, Southeast US.

Role Description

The Regional Vice President of Sales for the Southeast will be responsible to solidify and further expand our presence in the southeastern United States. As such, he/she will be driving revenue growth across the area of responsibility by recruiting and managing a high-quality network of independent distributors, targeting and converting surgeons, and building the Bonebridge brand in the region.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment, can work independently, and approaches the market analytically and systematically. The person will need to be resourceful, make decisions with incomplete information, and bring the kind of energy and accountability that gets a new territory off the ground.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute a regional sales plan for the Southeast territory, driving revenue growth through distributor engagement and direct surgeon relationships
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage independent 1099 distributors across the Southeast, with target markets including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee
  • Identify and convert target surgeons from competitive products to Bonebridge through clinical selling, case support, and relationship building over time
  • Provide hands‑on surgical case coverage and technical support in the OR during product evaluations, first cases, and conversions
  • Manage distributor performance through biweekly check‑ins, pipeline reviews, and clear accountability metrics that keep everyone aligned
  • Maintain accurate territory data via CRM software, including surgeon targets, distributor pipeline, and deal status
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Education Manager to ensure distributors and surgeons receive proper product training before and after adoption
  • Represent Bonebridge at regional and national conferences
  • Report weekly to the President US on territory performance, pipeline development, and competitive activity in the region
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in a scientific discipline (engineering, medical science, biology, etc.) or equivalent business degree in marketing, finance, operations management
  • Demonstrated cognitive abilities to allow for a sound and analytical approach to the job
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to meet deadlines, frequent assignment changes, periodic heavy workload, rapidly changing technology, and dynamic business growth
  • Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape in orthopaedics and orthopaedic trauma
  • Experience launching a new product line or building a territory from the ground up in a competitive market
  • Tangible and verifiable relationships with orthopaedic trauma surgeons and trauma hospitals in the Southeast of the United States
  • Prior experience as an RVP, Area VP, or Regional Director at an orthopaedic company is preferred
  • Strong PC application skills, including proficiency in various software applications such as spreadsheets, databases, and word processing, preferably Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

The position has a travel requirement of 60-80%; initially, 80%.
