Overview

In this role, your primary duty is to make sales and obtain customer commitments for products and services through in-person, face-to-face engagement with prospects and customers at their places of business within an assigned territory. This position is customarily and regularly engaged in field-based selling and spends the majority of time away from company offices.

- Learn and market our full suite of print solutions and services
- Build a customer base through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and in-person engagement
- Customarily and regularly work in the field—meeting prospects and customers face-to-face at their places of business throughout the assigned territory—to advance and close sales opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support sales efforts
- Deliver solution-focused presentations and engage in consultative discussions to solve issues and uncover client needs
- Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to develop and refine sales strategies
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and progress deals through the sales cycle
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly prospecting and sales goals
- Record customer insights and sales interactions to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up as incidental to and in support of outside sales activities
- Attend in-office training sessions, team-building activities and customer events as needed; field-based selling remains the primary duty.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a customer facing role (sales development, account support, customer success support, renewals support, or similar) highly desirable
- Ability to customarily and regularly travel within the assigned territory to conduct in person customer/prospect meetings and field-based selling.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily field travel within assigned territory
