- Provide medical gas products, services, and equipment to assigned accounts within the territory.
- Represent the company's product lines to new prospects and existing customers, emphasizing how our solutions benefit patient care.
- Cultivate and sustain sales relationships within the assigned territory.
- Identify and connect with prospective customers and report to your support lead.
- Increase value and margin by growing our presence within existing accounts and engaging new ones.
- Serve as a bridge between customers and the company for pricing, products, delivery, payments, and inquiries.
- Support other sales representatives in maintaining and developing medical sales within their customer base.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns effectively and with empathy.
- Analyze market data to identify new customers and foster sales strategies.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to understand pricing, market conditions, and sales performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement market plans and sales strategies.
- Maintain open communication with leadership by submitting timely activity and results reports.
- Champion safety procedures and regulations while working.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required.
- A solid background in providing medical, specialty, or industrial gases and equipment (typically gained over 3 or more years).
- Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and minimum liability insurance as required by the state of vehicle registration.
- Effective and engaging written and oral communication, listening, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Comfort with digital tools, including Google Workspace, MS Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, or a prior background in industrial gas/welding supply sales.
- Knowledge of the geographical area and a connection to the local community.
- A proactive, well-organized approach with a thoughtful attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while managing timelines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
