Job Summary

The Integrated Fire & Security Solutions Orlando, FL team is seeking a motivated and relationship driven Account Executive to lead sales and customer development initiatives across the low-voltage systems portfolio. This is a high?impact, proactive sales role focused on building strong partnerships with end users, general contractors (GCs), electrical contractors (ECs), and select bid?market opportunities.

You will represent a comprehensive suite of low-voltage and security technologies, including:

  • CCTV & Video Surveillance
  • Security Systems
  • Access Control Solutions
  • Intercom & Sound Systems
  • Paging Systems
  • Structured Cabling
  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Recurring Services (Monitoring, Maintenance, Inspections)
  • Additional emerging technologies as added to the portfolio

This role is not a passive estimating or bid?only position. Success requires active prospecting, engaging new and existing customers, and managing the full sales cycle from cold outreach and discovery to proposal development, closing, and post?sale follow?up. You will work closely with the Senior Sales Executive to strengthen market presence and drive territory growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Actively drive new business development through regular customer engagement, cold outreach, networking, and field visits.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure negotiated sales opportunities, including design?build and pre?designed project work.
  • Conduct site visits, field surveys, and needs assessments to qualify leads and define project requirements.
  • Prepare scopes of work and detailed proposals that reflect customer needs and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with presales engineering teams to ensure solutions are accurate, competitive, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Build and manage a personal sales pipeline, maintaining a minimum of 10 targeted sales calls per week.
  • Participate in weekly sales activity reviews and maintain all customer interactions, proposals, and documentation in Hub Spot CRM.
  • Oversee and renew recurring service agreements related to monitoring, inspections, and maintenance.
  • Support estimating, take-offs, customer presentations, and other business development activities throughout the sales cycle.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical training or college coursework preferred.
  • Proven B2B/outside sales experience within security, access control, low-voltage, or related system environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative, customer?focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Hub Spot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable conducting site visits, field surveys, and developing scopes and proposals for customers.
  • Willingness to perform proactive outreach (including cold calling) to generate opportunities and grow the customer base.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all interactions.
  • Technologically proficient, including use of computers, mobile devices, and digital sales tools.
  • Self?motivated, goal?oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including maintaining a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

This role may require extended periods of sitting or standing, movement around the office or job site, and operation of standard equipment. Physical activities can include reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Field positions may involve heavy lifting, working in varying climates (including outdoor conditions), construction or low-voltage environments, and exposure to dust, noise, or confined spaces.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required. Some roles may require travel.
