Position: Medicare Sales Field Agent - CarePlus Orange/Seminole County

About the Role

The Market Point Career Channel Team is looking for accomplished Medicare Field Sales Agents for a field‑based role. You must live in the designated territory to serve your local community and work as part of a collaborative team of 8–12 Medicare Sales Agents under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director.

Responsibilities
  • Build trust and educate individuals on Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings such as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
  • Create meaningful, face‑to‑face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in‑home visits to provide a personalized experience that sets Humana apart.
  • Drive self‑generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana’s presence in the market by building relationships in your community.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Health Insurance License required.
  • Must reside in Orange or Seminole County.
  • Comfortable with daily face‑to‑face interactions at prospective members’ homes, community‑based events, and engaging with the community through service, retail environments, organizations, volunteer work or local events.
  • Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Life and Variable Annuity insurance license.
  • Background in selling Medicare products.
  • Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
  • Background in supporting Value‑Based Care organizations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.
Additional Information

Driving Statement: This role is part of our driver safety program and requires a valid state driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance meeting the minimum required limits.

Language Proficiency Assessment: Any associate who communicates with a member in a language other than English must take an assessment to ensure competency.

Schedule: Meetings and appointments may occur on nights and weekends. Flexibility is essential.

Training: The first five weeks of employment and attendance are mandatory.

Pay Range: $80,000 – $125,000 per year, total compensation including base pay and commission with guarantee. Actual earnings vary based on performance.

Travel: While this position is remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.
