Financial Center Manager Associate – East Orlando, FL (Lake Mary Area)
The Financial Center Manager Associate (FCMA) will participate in a comprehensive onboarding and education program that includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred, and Sales & Operations Management. The program prepares the successful candidate for a Financial Center Manager role within a Financial Center.
Responsibilities- Complete the FCMA roadmap and all onboarding activities, including the Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
- Deepen consumer and small‑business customer relationships by delivering a memorable customer experience.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Fifth Third’s products, services, processes, and internal resources to guide and lead the team.
- Apply the consultative sales process to proactively identify customers’ financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop an integrated book‑of‑business strategy ensuring all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment and are assigned to the most suitable banker.
- Source, develop, coach, and lead a team that reinforces core values and business strategies.
- Cultivate a One Bank culture that collaborates with business partners.
- Participate in community‑service activities.
- Model the ethical behavior expected from every employee by following the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and associated policies.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Assist in providing employees timely, candid, and constructive feedback; support employee development to their full potential, provide challenging opportunities for career growth, and recognize and reward accomplishments.
Qualifications- College degree or two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
- Professional communication skills in verbal and written formats.
- Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
- Strong sales execution and coaching abilities.
- Business acumen and sound decision‑making skills.
- Requirement for S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment via NMLS.
- Normal office environment.
- Extended computer screen use.
- Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.
