Responsibilities
- Achieve territory sales goals by promoting products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within assigned geography.
- Educate customers on appropriate use, characteristics, and approved indications of products.
- Effectively promote and educate specialty physicians on appropriate use of rare disease products via one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and company-approved promotional speaker programs.
- Maintain high call/field productivity; meet territory product sales goals while complying with ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
- Execute company-approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers/accounts using company-approved resources, sales materials, and promotional programs/initiatives identified by Sales Leadership.
- Manage and maintain company equipment and promotional materials (sales materials, literature, product samples, etc.) per compliance guidelines.
- Execute territory sales strategy using territory/business plans and sales reports.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Achieve territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals using company-defined metrics.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional sales development.
- BA/BS required; 2+ years promoting rare disease products.
- 5–7+ years successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and rare disease products; proven sustained high sales performance.
- Competencies:

- Periodic evening/weekend work and periodic overnight travel; travel up to 70%.
