Position: Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, Endocrinology (Rare Disease

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales goals by promoting products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within assigned geography.
  • Educate customers on appropriate use, characteristics, and approved indications of products.
  • Effectively promote and educate specialty physicians on appropriate use of rare disease products via one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and company-approved promotional speaker programs.
  • Maintain high call/field productivity; meet territory product sales goals while complying with ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
  • Execute company-approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
  • Support targeted customers/accounts using company-approved resources, sales materials, and promotional programs/initiatives identified by Sales Leadership.
  • Manage and maintain company equipment and promotional materials (sales materials, literature, product samples, etc.) per compliance guidelines.
  • Execute territory sales strategy using territory/business plans and sales reports.
  • Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
  • Achieve territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals using company-defined metrics.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional sales development.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS required; 2+ years promoting rare disease products.
  • 5–7+ years successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and rare disease products; proven sustained high sales performance.
  • Competencies:

    leadership, teamwork/collaboration, attention to detail, self‑starter, problem solving, organizational skills, adaptability, professionalism, written/verbal communications, analytical skills, multitasking, decision‑making, accountability.
Working Conditions
  • Periodic evening/weekend work and periodic overnight travel; travel up to 70%.
