Medical Sales Representative – Bracing & Supports

The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for our specialized bracing and support product lines within the assigned territory. In this role, you will deliver tailored sales presentations to medical professionals and cultivate high‑value relationships with clinical decision‑makers.
Primary Call Points:
Hospital departments utilizing orthopedic products (including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma, Emergency Medicine, and Materials Management), private specialty clinics, and Orthotic & Prosthetic (O&P) offices.
- Territory Growth:
Attain or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual territory sales objectives through strategic solution selling and effective cost management. - Clinical Presentations:
Deliver personalized, high‑impact technical product presentations to physicians, surgeons, and clinicians to secure product adoption. - Strategic
Collaboration:
Partner with local independent representation organizations and distribution partners within the territory to maximize market penetration. - Technical
Competency:
Maintain an expert‑level technical command of product mechanics, industry trends, and competitive positioning, maintaining a 90% or higher score on internal technical competencies. - Data‑Driven Planning:
Maintain, analyze, and leverage CRM databases and territory customer reports to efficiently prioritize pipeline activities. - Cross‑Functional Communication:
Keep leadership updated on market trends and competitive activity; submit precise, timely expense and territory performance metrics. - Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere strictly to industry guidelines, compliance regulations, and internal quality management protocols during all commercial operations.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a life science or business discipline. - Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of direct field B2B sales experience; medical device or healthcare product sales preferred. - Specialized Knowledge:
Prior experience selling Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P), physical therapy products, or orthopedic devices is highly desirable. - Communication:
Exceptional oral, written, and persuasive presentation skills. - Execution:
Strong organizational, analytical, and territory/time‑management capabilities. - Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 50% for client site visits, including frequent daily travel and overnight stays as needed to service the market.
- Base Salary Range: $68,500 – $84,500 (Determined by experience, skills, and specific location)
