We are searching for an Account Executive II, Advanced Surgical Instruments to serve the Orlando, FL territory. This role focuses on selling Ethicon's comprehensive surgical devices and solutions, including hemostasis, energy sealing and dissection, surgical stapling and wound closure platforms, with emphasis on energy and endomechanical platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full bag of Ethicon offerings of comprehensive surgical devices and solutions.
  • Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers, primarily in operating room settings.
  • Be assigned a sales territory focusing on assigned physicians and hospital institutions.
  • Attain the forecast in assigned accounts/territory.
  • Set priorities and make sound business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.
  • Demonstrate proper use of products to clinicians in the Operating Room environment.
  • Manage customer questions and objections in a manner consistent with product indications and sales training methodology.
  • Execute the selling cycle professionally, ethically, and within healthcare compliance guidelines.
  • Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in sales training courses.
  • Analyze data, stay updated on market information, and plan business strategies.
  • Build excellent customer relations with key physicians, hospital personnel, and authorized distributors; conduct customer education seminars as appropriate.
  • Comply with standards for safe behavior and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2‑4 years of relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, demonstrating exceptional achievement of sales objectives.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong sales performance with ability to target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan.
  • Strong time management and planning skills.
  • Hospital‑based pharmaceutical or medical device experience (operating room sales) and experience selling to a highly educated/high‑profile customer base.
  • Experience in developing new, innovative markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills.
  • Team oriented.
